At long last, it's been completed.
This is a gift for one of my great NSider buds who I've been friends with for a long time now,
. This really can do no real justice to him, but I really felt like I owed him a huge thank-you for being such a great friend all this time. I look up to him like an older brother--he's taught me so much and been there when I really needed it. Through our many conversations with one another, I've learned so much more about how fulfilling life can be and what true friends are really all about. I've even found out more about myself over the past two or three years after having talked to him. This dude has a heart of gold, a pure imagination, and is just plain awesome in all respects. I'm extremely lucky to have a bud like him. 
I really, really look up to him.
Anyway, I did some fan art of two of his Pokemon characters from his suitably-dubbed "Team Arbok-X". These are my favorites--Jolt the Raichu and Snipe the Riolu. If you have a good eye, you can even spot a cameo of Arb's meerkat form, Alex Trefur, in the graffiti.
Really couldn't think of a better background, but I really like how it came out nonetheless. You won't believe how many times I went back just to touch something up or make something better--I really wanted this to be the best it can be. Arb's got such amazing prowess. Set one foot into his gallery, and it's like stepping right into heaven itself. He's literally that awesome. You have to appreciate the great friend that he is, because he's one of the few and the rare kinds of people these days who can really brighten your day. I'm honored to be one of his buds, so it truly means a lot.

All done in GIMP, researched some poses using the old-school Pokemon anime and Pokemon cards, and yeah, just really had a lot of fun with this.
