Now that took a lot of work! Even though I can't stand Phantos, this mask is an amazing piece of work. What you use to make it?

Heck yeah...o__O You have no idea how long it took. Almost a month and a half. I was originally going to make something from Majora's Mask, but there was no way my talent could amount to complete anything of the sort. Luckily I had other options...so I went with Phantos. He's one of the most annoying enemies I have ever faced. Still, he is a fun character to draw and use in comical situations. Soon he's going to be the star of his own deviation, so I can't wait to work on it.

Ah, yes...materials. I believe we used a construction method something similar to papier-mâché. Basically we blew up a balloon, hung it upside down, and covered it in layered newspaper using this sticky glue I never want to touch again. Then we cut out the backs of the form and mounted them to a badminton racket. After we built the layers, we added extra stuff onto it and painted it inside and out. Took such a long time, but I was relieved when it was finished. Oh, and I just added those red and white pebbles on the surface for effect and applied mesh netting from this foam I found to the facial areas. Came out pretty good....better than what I'd normally do. xD

One of these days I may edit this deviation to get better photo quality. I was just trying to get this up before Halloween, so I put it up today. Ah well, it's cool for now.

You don't even need to finish the game to know who Phantos is. He's in the first level actually. Further into it, that is. But that's cool, considering I've never finished a Mario 2D game ever.
